Heather Conrad

Heather A. Conrad joined Practice Brokers, Inc. 20 years ago. Initially, Heather worked closely with Jerry Peterson to assist with the development of business appraisals through data entry and proofreading. After gaining more knowledge and experience in the chiropractic appraisal industry, Heather took on greater responsibility in acquiring and managing client information needed to create the appraisals. In 2005, Heather became Board Certified in Business Appraisal after completing educational requirements, passing the written examination, meeting established criteria for qualification, and preparing a demonstrative business appraisal.

Since then, Heather has created hundreds of business appraisals for chiropractic practices as the company’s lead Business Appraisal Specialist. In other words, Heather analyzes an enormous amount of data to establish what a chiropractic practice is worth. Heather has worked with all types of clinics over the years: small, medium, and large volume clinics; urban and rural ones; solo practitioners; offices with associates; multi-disciplinary offices-the list is endless. In fact, Heather has appraised over $122 million in clinic value across the United States for a variety of purposes ranging from re-sale to buy-ins/buy-outs to estate planning.

Heather has also taken several advanced business appraisal courses to expand her understanding of valuating closely held businesses. In addition to a business appraisal certification, Heather completed courses to become a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Minnesota in 2007. Although not necessary for business appraisals, having a real estate license allows Heather to answer prospective clients’ questions regarding the buying or selling of clinics. Heather also holds a Bachelor of Science degree Cum Laude from Saint Cloud State University, with a major in Secondary Education, English.
